1. What utilities are included in my monthly fees?
  • All utilities, including extended cable package (but excluding internet), are included. This covers water, electricity, heating, cooling, and trash collection.
2. Is Algonquin House an assisted living community?
  • No, Algonquin House is an independent condominium community and does not provide assisted living or healthcare services.
3. Are pets allowed in the building?
  • No, Algonquin House is a pet-free building. No pets are allowed for residents or guests.
4. What amenities are available at Algonquin House?
  • Amenities include a saltwater pool, community room, library, and secure parking, all included in the monthly fees. Boat slips and three furnished guest rooms for residents’ guests are available for an additional charge.
5. How does parking work?
  • Each 1- and 2-bedroom unit is assigned one reserved parking space, while 3- and 4-bedroom units are assigned two reserved spaces. Additional guest parking is also available. Parking spots are assigned after closing and do not convey with the unit.
6. What security measures are in place?
  • Algonquin House features secure building entry, 24-hour surveillance in common areas, and key-fob access for residents.
7. Is there an on-site maintenance team?
  • Yes, maintenance staff are available during business hours to address any issues. For emergencies outside of these hours, please contact the 24/7 hotline.
8. Can I rent out my unit?
  • Yes, rentals are allowed with certain restrictions. Owners must comply with the building’s rental policy and notify management.
9. Are there laundry facilities in the building?
  • Laundry rooms with machines operated by a rechargeable card are located on each floor for resident convenience.
10. Is internet service available in the building?
  • Yes, residents can set up internet service through local providers. Internet fees are not included in the monthly dues.
